LAN states no foreign airline is in talks to purchase a stake

LAN Airlines' President and Chief Operating Officer, Ignacio Cueto, has reportedly stated no foreign airline is in talks to purchase the remaining 11% stake in the carrier (Reuters, 25-Feb-2010). LAN has already sold 8.56% and 6.4% stakes in the carrier to the Cueto family and Celfin respectively. A group of five investors is reportedly interested in the carrier's remaining shares.
