Kuwait International Airport announce plans for a new passenger terminal

Kuwait International Airport announced plans to construct a new passenger terminal to increase the airport's capacity from 7 million to 20 million passengers p/a (Bloomberg, 29-Sep-2009). The proposed terminal is expected to be completed by Nov-2016. Four companies have submitted bids for the design of the terminal while a tender for an engineering, procurement and construction contract will be issued in May-2012.
