Kuwait Airways receives first 777-300ER

Kuwait Airways, via its official Facebook and Twitter accounts, announced (09-Dec-2016) the arrival of its first Boeing 777-300ER aircraft at Kuwait International Airport. The aircraft is the first of 10 777-300ERs and features the airline's new livery. The aircraft will be deployed on Kuwait-London service (KUNA/Kuwait Times, 09/10-Dec-2016). The carrier expects to receive the nine remaining aircraft by 4Q2017. Kuwait Airways chairperson and CEO Rasha Al-Roumi said the airline aims to operate, "the youngest commercial airline fleet in the world by 2021."
