Korean Air's lounge expansion at Seoul Incheon International Airport formed part of a broader service enhancement strategy, which also included the retrofit of Boeing 777-300ER aircraft to introduce premium economy cabins and the redesign of lounges at major international hubs. The new and renovated lounges at Incheon were scheduled to open in phases from August 2025, with further lounge renovations planned for completion by April 20261.
