Korean Air Lines revises B787 order; pushed back by five years

Korean Air Lines stated it has revised a purchase agreement with Boeing that would delay the delivery of B787s to Korean Air from 2011 to 2016 (Reuters/Dow Jones, 17-Mar-2011). The order has also been changed from B787-8s to B787-900 aircraft, with 10 on order. The disclosure came after Boeing said the carrier may not be able to receive its first B787 this year. Boeing at the time said that no decision has been made about the delivery schedule for Korean Air.
