KLM retires final 747 from its fleet

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, via its official Twitter account, announced (25-Oct-2020) its last Boeing 747 aircraft landed at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport for the final time before being retired from KLM's fleet (NL Times, 26-Oct-2020). The carrier has accelerated the phase-out of the aircraft from the end of 2021 to 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
