Kenya Airways’ recent fleet growth ambitions have been underpinned by plans to raise at least USD500 million for fleet development, with capital sourcing and shareholder approval targeted for 1Q20261. CEO Allan Kilavuka previously stated that expansion to 60 aircraft by 2030, including widebody freighters, is contingent on securing a strategic investor, with government approval anticipated by the end of 20252.
