Kenya Airways revenue down 8% – financial highlights for 12 months ended 31-Mar-2013:

  • Revenue: KES98,860 million (USD1161 million), -8.4% year-on-year;
    • Passenger: KES85,100 million (USD999.2 million), -10.6%;
  • Costs: KES107,872 million (USD1267 million), +1.2%;
  • Operating profit (loss): (KES9012 million) (USD105.8 million), compared to a profit of KES1306 million (USD15.3 million) in p-c-p;
  • Net profit (loss): (KES7864 million) (USD92.3 million), compared to a profit of KES1660 million (USD19.5 million) in p-c-p;
  • Passenger numbers: 3.7 million;
  • Load factor: 68.7%;
  • Yield: USD 9.78 cents;
  • Cost per ASK: USD 7.62 cents;
