Kenya Airways progressively reintroduced grounded capacity, including a Boeing 737-800 and an Embraer E190 that returned on 19-Dec-2025 after parts shortages, as part of a three-narrowbody reactivation plan.1 In 1H2025, it temporarily grounded three Boeing 787-8s amid supply chain and engine constraints, with staged returns planned through 2025.2 3 It also took delivery of a 170-seat 737-800 from Dubai Aerospace Enterprise, taking the fleet to 35 aircraft.4
