Kenya Airways' 10-year plan focuses on capturing traffic flows; starts with rights issue

Kenya Airways' board approved (03-Nov-2011) a 10-year plan that it believes will enable the carrier to remain competitive by positioning itself to capture traffic flows in the future. The plan includes the roll out of new destinations covering six continents and fleet acquisition. The immediate item to be implemented starts in the next six months with a planned rights issue. The rights issue will form part of the initial pre-delivery payments for the 2013/14 and 2014/15 aircraft acquisitions. [more - original PR]
