Deutsche Aircraft opened a 60,500sqft D328eco final assembly line in Leipzig, backed by a EUR100 million investment and planned annual capacity of up to 48 aircraft.1 The facility was reported to include a commissioning hangar, logistics centre and administration building at Leipzig/Halle Airport.2 Deutsche Aircraft previously selected Jungheinrich to supply an integrated PowerCube and AutoVNA automated storage concept for the site.3
