John Menzies Plc revenue up 3.5%, reports double-digit increase in profits in 2009

Scotland's John Menzies Plc revenue up 3.5% - financial highlights for the 12 months ended 31-Dec-2009:

  • Revenue: GBP1,726 million, +3.5% year-on-year;
  • Underlying operating profit by division^:
  • Underlying profit before tax*: GBP35.2 million, +14.7%;
  • Profit before tax: GBP22.0 million, +122.2%. [more]

^Includes each division's share of pre-tax profit from JVs and associates, and excludes intangible amortisation and exceptional items
