Jetstar Airways previously announced plans to add 34,000 seats between the Sunshine Coast and Melbourne from Mar-2025 to Jun-2025 by introducing over 140 new evening flights and upgrading more than 170 services to larger A321 aircraft, resulting in a 14% year-on-year capacity increase between the two destinations and over 350,000 total seats on the route in 20251.
