JetGo Australia says Dubbo, Tamworth services doing 'remarkably well' in LF, 25% of pax connecting

JetGo Australia MD Paul Bredereck, speaking at CAPA's Airport Innovation Summit, said (03-Aug-2015) the carrier's Brisbane-Tamworth and Brisbane-Dubbo services are "doing remarkably well in load factors" since launch. Mr Bredereck said 60% of passengers in those markets were not flying at all before it commenced service, and approximately 25% of passengers are connecting at Brisbane Airport. Mr Bredereck noted: "[The] number one connecting destination is in Melbourne because those customers previously drove to Sydney [and flew from there]." Mr Bredereck explained: "The net effect won't affect passengers flying through Sydney and Brisbane, it's just going to change the shift a bit and grow it at the edges."
