The Blue Sky collaboration between JetBlue and United followed completion of a US Department of Transportation review, allowing the carriers to phase in new benefits such as reciprocal loyalty earning and redemption, interline booking integration, and expanded access at New York JFK from as early as 2027. United also planned to migrate its travel services to JetBlue’s Paisly technology platform as part of the partnership1 2.
