JetBlue Airways and United Airlines previously completed a US Department of Transportation review of Blue Sky, clearing it to proceed with a phased rollout from autumn 2025, including interline distribution on each other’s digital channels and reciprocal loyalty benefits.1 JetBlue president Martin St George said on the 4Q2025 earnings call that 2026 would be “a big year for Blue Sky”, with cross-selling and mutual elite benefits expected to switch on during 2026.2
