Jazeera Airways expects to generate profit in 2010

Jazeera Airways stated it expects to generate a profit in 2010 (Reuters, 08-May-2010). The carrier stated it is less dependent on financing with the full takeover of Sahab Aircraft Leasing Co in Feb-2010 for USD88.4 million. The carrier also plans to raise its capital by 91% through a rights issue announced in Apr-2010.
