Japan Transport Ministry establishes working group to expanding transportation law

Japan's Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transportation and Tourism (MLITT ) established a working group to examine the basic laws of transportation, with its first meeting being held on 13-Nov-2009 (Nikkan Koukuu, 16-Nov-2009). The aim of the working group is to maintain and revive public transportation systems and review issues of transportation policy and appropriate transportation systems and future legislation. An outcome is expected to be reached by Jun-2010.
