Japan Airlines scheduled deliveries of its 737 MAX 8s from FY2026, after ordering 21 aircraft in Mar-2023 and a further 17 units, to replace 737-800s mainly used on domestic routes.1 2 Japan Airlines also selected Intelsat to linefit multi-orbit inflight connectivity on more than 20 737 MAX aircraft, with the first delivery expected in 2026.3
