Japan Airlines sees B787 as tool to enhance international competitiveness

Japan Airlines said it sees the B787 as a tool to enhance its international competitiveness, according to an Asahi report. The carrier has 35 B787s on order, and will deploy its first B787 on the Tokyo Narita-Boston sector from Apr-2012. JALconfirmed its B787 configuration with 186 seats, including 42 business and 144 economy seats.
