Irish Aviation Authority previously commissioned Amárach Research to survey 1000 Irish adults on air passenger rights, finding 54% claimed awareness, 13% had no awareness and 32% had heard something but did not know details; 66% correctly identified re-routing/refund and care entitlements.1 The authority also prosecuted FLYONE for failing to comply with statutory directions on nine EU261/2004 disruption claims involving compensation and/or refunds.2
