Brazil’s Ministry of Ports and Airports opened a public consultation on the bid call for the renegotiated Brasília concession, envisaging a “simplified” competitive process and the exit of state operator Infraero, with the new airport block contract running to 20371. Brazil’s Federal Court of Accounts previously approved the renegotiation agreement, setting a 2026 auction with a minimum bid of 5.9% of gross revenues and outlining around BRL1.2 billion of planned investment at Brasília plus BRL857.8 million across ten regional airports2.
