Gujarat's broader airport pipeline included the Ahmedabad Dholera International Airport project, where the state acquired and allocated 1426ha and progressed detailed project report preparation.1 The central government also issued a tender to appoint a consultant for a feasibility survey and detailed project report for Dholera.2 Separately, Gujarat planned to sign an agreement with Airports Authority of India and the Ministry of Civil Aviation to develop four water aerodromes under the regional connectivity scheme.3
