India's Ministry of Civil Aviation granted site clearance for Puri Sri Jagannath International Airport, with Odisha’s Government planning to prepare and submit a detailed project report to MoCA.1 Airports Authority of India previously conducted feasibility assessments of potential Puri sites after Odisha requested a survey and named the project Sri Jagannath International Airport.2 3 MoCA later provided in-principle approval for developing Puri Airport alongside Kota Airport.4
