ILFC announces pricing of USD3.9bn of senior secured notes

International Lease Finance Corporation (ILFC), a wholly owned subsidiary of American International Group, announced (11-Aug-2010) that it has priced, and entered into an agreement to issue and sell, subject to certain conditions, its previously announced private placement of senior secured notes consisting of:

  • USD1.35 billion aggregate principal amount of 6 1/2% senior secured notes due 2014;
  • USD1.275 billion aggregate principal amount of 6 3/4% senior secured notes due 2016;
  • USD1.275 billion aggregate principal amount of 7 1/8% senior secured notes due 2018.

ILFC expects to close the offering on or about 20-Aug-2010. [more]

ILFC also separately announced (11-Aug-2010) it has priced, its previously announced public offering of USD500 million aggregate principal amount of 8 7/8% senior notes due 2017. ILFC expects to close the offering on or about 20-Aug-2010.[more]
