Icelandair planned to operate a fleet of 41 passenger aircraft in summer 2026, comprising 21 Boeing 737 MAX and seven A321LRs, with three A321LRs due in 1Q2026. It aimed to retire four 757s and one 767 by end 2025, and phase out all 767 operations by 2026, earlier than previously planned, as part of its move to a more fuel efficient fleet1.
