IATA regional VP Americas: Latin America and Caribbean still has 'huge' growth potential

IATA regional VP Americas Peter Cerdá, speaking at the CAPA Airline Leader Summit Americas, stated (03-Apr-2025) the Latin America and Caribbean region has opened over 1300 new city pairs in the last three and a half years. Mr Cerdá said: "That shows how much the industry has grown and its ability to adjust to consumer needs", adding: "There's still a huge amount of opportunity to grow".
