IATA notes gaps for Latin America airlines in financing gains per passenger

IATA regional VP, the Americas Peter Cerda, speaking at the CAPA Americas Aviation Summit 2016, stated (11-Apr-2016) Latin American airlines should deliver a better financial performance in 2016, with projected profits of USD400 million versus a USD300 million loss in 2016. However, he stated gaps remain in gains per passenger - USD1.26 for Latin American airlines versus a global average of USD9.60.
