IATA international passenger traffic up 2.1% in Nov-09

IATA reports (30-Dec-2009) the following international traffic growth by region in Nov-2009:

  • Passenger traffic (RPKs): +2.1% year-on-year;
  • Passenger load factor: 75.4%;
    • Africa: 67.6%;
    • Asia Pacific: 76.0%;
    • Europe: 74.7%;
    • Latin America: 75.8%;
    • Middle East: 73.9%;
    • North America: 78.1%;
  • Cargo traffic (FTKs): +9.5%;
    • Africa: +8.1%;
    • Asia Pacific: +14.5%;
    • Europe: -5.6%;
    • Latin America: +17.5%;
    • Middle East: +21.4%;
