IATA: Air travel growth slipping, confluence of factors behind the slow down

IATA director general and CEO Tony Tyler reported (07-Jul-2016) air travel demand growth is "slipping back toward more historic levels" following the very strong start to 2016. Mr Tyler attributed the slow-down to a combination of factors, including continuing terrorist activity and the fragile state of the global economy.
