Hungaria's Government provided a EUR19.4 million capital injection for Malev in Sep-2010 (HATC, 11-Oct-2010). Vnesheconombank, which controls a minority stake in the carrier, did not participate in the capital increase. In Sep-2010, the Hungarian Government approved a EUR53.7 million capital raising and an additional EUR20.8 million loan to Malev.
