Hughes Network Systems acquired Anderson Connectivity, an aerospace design, engineering and manufacturing services provider with an FAA Part 145-certified facility in Melbourne, Florida, and Anderson founder Brian Anderson joined Hughes as VP aviation technology and innovation officer.1 Hughes also deepened its aviation connectivity positioning via Airbus’ HBCplus ecosystem, becoming a managed service provider for the Ka-band offering.2 3 Delta Air Lines selected Hughes’ Fusion simultaneous multi-orbit inflight connectivity for select A350 and A321neo deliveries, alongside a broader 400+ aircraft agreement.4
