Huatugou Airport receives approval on its civil airport construction feasibility report

China's National Development and Reform Commission announced (10-Jun-2014) it approved Huatugou Airport's civil airport construction feasibility report. The expansion project, with total investment of CNY674 million (USD108.6 million), includes a 3600m x 45m runway, a 3000sqm terminal building and an apron with four aircraft parking bays. After the completion of the construction project, the airport will have annual capacity to handle 90,000 passengers and 100 tonnes of cargo by 2020. [more - original PR - Chinese]
