Hobart Airport’s AUD200 million redevelopment previously delivered two new departure gates, with CEO Norris Carter saying it would double terminal size and add more food and retail options, while the existing departures area was due to close temporarily as construction continued and interim gates and seating were introduced1. The airport’s upgrade also included new concessions, such as Lagardère AWPL’s 248sqm Purely Tasmania retail and tasting outlet, as part of plans to lift F&B outlets from five to nine and retail locations from three to seven2.
