HKIA forced to delay flights due to B747 breakdown

China's Hong Kong International Airport was forced to delay 82 flights on the evening of 21-Sep-2010 after a fully-loaded Air Cargo Germany B747 aircraft broke down, blocking access to a runway (The Standard, 22-Sep-2010). A Cathay Pacific spokesman said most of its services were delayed by between one and two hours.
