HAMR Energy previously closed an AUD10 million Series A round backed by Airbus, Qantas Group and thyssenkrupp Uhde to progress low carbon liquid fuels projects, with Honeywell providing UOP eFining methanol-to-jet technology.1 HAMR also advanced its Portland Renewable Fuels project in regional Victoria to produce methanol for shipping or conversion into SAF, and it developed a methanol-to-jet facility targeting more than 135 million litres of SAF p/a.1
