GOL received its first A330, which it planned to deploy on Rio de Janeiro Galeão-New York JFK from 08-Jul-2026, with the airline stating the twin-aisle would support an “expansion phase” and help increase capacity as it expanded its international network.1 Abra Group CEO Adrian Neuhauser said GOL sought to develop Galeão into an international travel hub and expected delivery of five A330-900s in 2026/27.2
