Global airline capacity up 4% in Dec-2009: OAG
OAG reports the world's airlines increased seat capacity by 4% year-on-year and frequencies by 1% in Dec-2009. The low cost sector reported a 10% increase in both seat capacity and frequency, accounting for 444,539 flights (18%) and 65.6 million seats (22%). Details include:
