Boeing previously stated it would offer Gilat’s multi-orbit Sidewinder electronically steered antenna as a future line-fit solution for inflight connectivity service providers1. Gilat also reported USD39 million of Sidewinder terminal orders from a leading satellite operator, spanning linefit and retrofit, with deliveries planned over 12 months2. Separately, Gilat booked multimillion-dollar AeroStream Ka-band wideband amplifier deliveries for commercial-aircraft connectivity deployments over 24 months3.
