Air Tanzania received a Foreign Carrier Operation Permit from Nigeria's Federal Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development, as part of initiatives to improve collaboration and operational efficiency between Nigeria and Tanzania. The permit is required for Air Tanzania to commence services to and from Nigeria, and a memorandum of understanding between the two countries was set to be signed to facilitate regulatory requirements for passenger data sharing1.
