Ryanair announced a GBP40 million expansion of its Glasgow Prestwick maintenance facility, including a nearly 12,000sqm four-bay heavy maintenance hangar, taking the site to 10 bays and creating 450 jobs, supported by UK Government and Scottish Enterprise funding.1 Glasgow Prestwick Airport reported a GBP3.5 million operating profit for the year to 31-Mar-2025 and reinvested GBP10 million, while projecting cargo volumes would treble in 2025/26.2
