Fukuoka Airport planned to reopen its expanded international terminal on 28-Mar-2025, following extensive renovations to accommodate up to 16 million passengers annually, with an estimated investment of JPY50 billion1. The airport handled 12.96 million passengers in 1HFY2024/25 and projected a record 26.22 million passengers for FY2024/252. During FY2023/24, Fukuoka Airport saw a 38% increase in passenger traffic, totalling 24.9 million passengers, including 7.1 million international passengers3.
