French GDP growth in 2010 slightly above 1.5% forecast
France's Budget Minister Francois Baroin stated France may achieve growth slightly above the government's current forecast of 1.5% in 2010 (LCI Television, 16-Sep-2010). Mr Barion added that the budget deficit for 2010 may decline to 7.8% of 7.9% of GDP.
