Forward Air revenue up 14% - financial highlights for three months ended 31-Mar-2012:

  • Total operating revenue: USD137.1 million, +14.0% year-on-year;
  • Total operating costs: USD120.3 million, +12.5%;
  • Operating profit: USD16.8 million, +26.4%;
  • Net profit: USD10.3 million, +30.6%;
  • Total assets: USD364.8 million, +6.9% when compared to period ended 31-Dec-2011;
  • Cash and cash equivalents: USD69.4 million, +18.0% when compared to period ended 31-Dec-2011;

Forward Air: "We anticipate that our second quarter 2012 revenues will increase in the range of 8% to 12% over the comparable 2011 period, and we expect income per diluted share to be between USD0.43 and USD0.47 per share.
