Flughafen Wien issues profit warning for first nine months of 2011

Austria’s Flughafen Wien AG, operator of Vienna Airport, reported (18-Nov-2011) impairment charges and non-recurring effects of EUR74 million attributable to the terminal extension Skylink, the investment in Košice Airport and an investment property at Vienna Airport will reduce the company net profit to EUR20 million, despite a 7.5% year-on-year increase in passenger traffic for the nine months ended 30-Sep-2011. The company is cutting capital expenditure by EUR70 million to EUR590 million for the period up to 2015. Flughafen Wien is scheduled to release its first nine months of 2011 results on 24-Nov-2011.
