Flight Centre leisure CEO: 'At the end of the day, we know Australians love to travel'

Flight Centre Travel Group leisure CEO James Kavanagh, speaking at the CAPA Airline Leader Summit Australia Pacific, stated (28-Jul-2026) "At the end of the day, we know Australians love to travel". Mr Kavanagh continued: "Typically when Australians are travelling, they are travelling far, they like to travel far". He added: "50% of the volume of our transactions are here in Australia".
