El Salvador’s Government previously announced construction of the Pacific Airport in La Union commenced, with financing to be provided by Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean.1 El Salvador’s Autonomous Executive Port Commission had earlier issued a call for proposals for the airport’s construction, with interested parties able to request tender information until 11-Jul-2024.2
