Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority approves Nordic Regional Airlines ownership change

Finnish Competition and Consumer Agency (SME) approved (27-Sep-2018) a transaction whereby Nordic Regional Airlines will come under the joint control of Finnair and Danish Air Transport. According to SME estimates, the acquisition does not significantly impede competition in the Finnish market. The routes operated by Danish Air Transport do not overlap with Finnair or Nordic Regional Airlines, and the parties to the merger will not compete with any market segment.
