Finnair’s scheduled traffic declined in 2009 by nearly 9%

Finnair reports (08-Jan-2010) the following traffic highlights for the 12 months ended 31-Dec-2009:

• Passenger numbers: 7.4 million, -10.1% year-on-year;
  • Scheduled: 6.3 million, -9.2%;
• ASKs: -9.8%;
• RPKs: -9.0%;
• Passenger load factor: 75.9%, 0.7 ppts;
• Cargo volume: 89,234 tonnes, -12.6%. [more]

Finnair: "Finnair's scheduled traffic declined in 2009 by nearly nine per cent compared with the previous year. Last year, Finnair carried more than 7.4 million passengers on its scheduled and leisure flights.
