Finavia completed two renovation projects at Kokkola/Pietarsaari Kruunupyy Airport in summer 2025, investing around EUR180,000 to develop electricity supply and repair the approach lighting system to support operations in poor visibility such as fog.1 Finavia also reported investing over EUR15 million in 2023 infrastructure works including runway and taxiway renovations at Helsinki-Vantaa, Kuopio and Kuusamo airports, alongside more than EUR5 million in sustainable development projects.2
